Slashing is a textile manipulation technique achieved by layering different fabrics, stitching them together, and subsequently cutting them by hand to reveal the underlying layers. The result is a three-dimensional, tactile surface characterized by depth, movement, and irregularity. This is deadstock material sourced from luxury fashion brands, to which we want to give a new lease on life. It has been carefully selected and sourced from the textile district of Prato.
